Stainless grade 5 chain lifting equipment in segmented modular design – chains and components
In addition to the grade 8 segmented modular system, an equivalent system has been developed using stainless chains, grade 5. You can see the load capacities below. This system is of particular interest to customers who need maximum flexibility and have to lift heavy loads with stainless components, or for applications that require components from our segmented modular system. The system is suitable for all industries (food, nuclear, chemical, pharmaceutical, galvanizing plants, hardening plants, paint shops, pumps, etc.).
Unlike grade 8 for stainless chains in segmented modular design, technical safety rules prescribe that components, once assembled, must not be disassembled – i.e. replacement with grade 8 components is excluded.
For stainless chain slings in segmented modular design the same technical safety rules apply as for grade 8 chain slings. Among other things, this means that every chain sling must have a tag with the relevant data; the certificate we supply with the goods must be kept for the entire period of use of the sling, and the chains must be inspected periodically.
