Flat-Link Mining Chains DIN 22255
Unlike typical round-link chains, flat-link chains have flattened vertical links, which reduces link height without reducing their strength.
This solution has many advantages:
– The sliding surface of the links increases, while the unit pressure on the pan is reduced
– The wear resistance of the vertical links increases
– The reduced link height makes it easier for the chain to pass through the sprocket teeth, allowing lower pans and lower chain units
